At Jenny K, everything we do is guided by three simple ideas: curate with integrity, welcome with heart, and stay rooted in community.
We love helping people find gifts that feel personal and meaningful. Our collection is thoughtfully curated from U.S.-based manufacturers and small brands, many designing their products right here in California and across the country.
Whenever possible, we choose items that are responsibly made, well-crafted, and designed to last—whether that means handmade, small-batch, or carefully sourced from trusted partners. Our goal is to make gift-giving feel easy, joyful, and a little bit special.

Who We Are
Jenny K began as an online shop in 2001 and opened its brick-and-mortar store in 2004. Well Grounded Tea & Coffee Bar followed in 2005, creating the side-by-side shops you see today on Stockton Avenue in El Cerrito.
In 2011, Jenny K expanded into its current space, allowing us to offer an even wider selection of gifts, jewelry, toys, kitchen goods, and more. Well Grounded continues to serve as a gathering place for the community, with bistro-style outdoor seating and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Jenny K and Well Grounded are run by husband-and-wife team Jen Komaromi and Kevin O’Neal. Jen grew up in a family business and has been working in the gift industry since 1997, building Jenny K around a passion for discovering special items and supporting independent makers.
Our Commitment to the Community
